Hi, I'm Sam. I'm a 16 year old boy from the UK who loves photography. My interest in photography first sparked when I was 11 years old, I was out with friends one evening at a beach where we witnessed the most amazing sunset. I whipped out my iPhone 6 and started to take pictures. Over the next few days, I marvelled at my work - never before had I loved a photograph so much. From then, I would go out to the beach most evenings to take photos of sunsets. When I was 14 years old, I decided to take a GCSE in photography. The course was very poorly designed and so I didn't learn much from it, but it did get me out and about taking photographs, which is where I picked up all of my skills. At the same time, I decided that I wanted a place to share my photographs with the world, but I didn't like how instagram presented its posts, so I used my knowledge in HTML in CSS which I had taught myself during lockdown to create this very website.
